How about those day we used to kiss? Our love was such a bliss, all I can do is reminisce..

All those late nights before I went away, 

you'd beg me stay because you couldn't wait a just few more days.

So when I would see you again,

It's like a new love would began. 

The way you stared into my eyes, you made me feel like I was the prize..

You gave me life, I felt so alive.

That was all past tense, all I could do is reminisce..

Those days..

Just praying one day I could feel how you made me feel all over again. 

What will it take?

Tomorrow? But you said "Today" yesterday.

Today is isn't just any another day

Your love is suffocating me.

It's so addicting,

It runs thru my veins, although I feel all the pain

Although it's bad in my sight,

I feel you're always gonna be right 

So I tell myself I need your love in my life.

This isn't the love that I always imagined.

Life is what you make it

I've seen things I never thought my eyes would of seen, 

just last night I was hanging with some dudes I've seen in on the tv screens;

they all telling me to live my dream.

"Go travel places all over he map,

The experience is much more matter of fact..

Then come back and share the story

Of the time spent, the ppl, and all of the glory.

See this is glorious; luxurious too

With the right mindset this could happen to you!"

Life is what you make it; THIS LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT! 

International Women's Day

International Women's Day 

She doesn't see the potential in her that I see.

Because society as already given her a standard of how it should be.

"She can't do this or that" "she's only good for laying on her back"

Matter of fact, she's much more than that!

What's it to you or me? She can be anything she wants to be.

Whether it be doing make up in magazines, on the big screen, writing poetry, do it whole heartily

Pave the way, no matter what they say.

Double standards, glass ceilings, are just ways they try to take em down..

Never forget who wears the crown.

Queens your throne awaits! It's up to you if you'll get their someday..

Remember who you are and what you mean to this world.

You're special, each and every last one of you.

Some have given life, became first teachers, held us down, other have loved us,

Whether it's your mother, sister, cousin, lover, or best friend..

We must appreciate them and show them how amazing they are from within!

International Women's Day

She's the most amazing being to step foot on the earth

She was built to carry souls for what it's worth

She's strong and smart

She's the light whenever it's dark

It's time to cherish her, appreciate what she brings to life

With out her we wouldn't be on this world right?

It's a struggle I made it from the rubble in been some of the toughest jungles.

What's an idea? Is it just a thought with nothing meaningless behind it? Or is it a future action to be taken? Ideas can eventually turn into plans which could be taken into action which could lead into results.

Reality

I thought I'd take a break from writing while on vacation. I failed drastically since writing is an escape of mine. I just wanted to relax and enjoy myself and the company I was along side. While on vacation I had the time of my life; lived in the moment. It was beautiful to just have fun, I was smiling 100% of the time just being me. On my way back I was a bit bummed, the phrase "back to reality" was circulating. What's reality? Was being on vacation a fantasy? Did it not happen? I then realized reality is the current moment. Why can't I always be happy in the current moment? Reality is my life could be whatever I want it to be. I can wake up in any city I want, smile whenever I feel, be happy with what I'm doing. One thing the vacation has taught me is to love my life how I want to live it. I want my reality to be me doing what I love, whenever I feel, enjoying the moment. It doesn't matter the city, the time, whatever else is going on, reality is whatever you make it, better yet how you perceive it.

Vacationing

Wanna get away? We all need time to our selves. Just enjoy the company of yourself. Vacations are crucial, they must happen. Enjoy life, appreciate the energy, be grateful, and most important have fun.

The Battle

What's new? What's next? What's up coming? The plan is half the battle, the 2nd half is execution.

Don't be fooled, there might be people in your circle that don't want to see you win.

Have a Day

It's half way through the first month of the new year. Have you already given up on your new year resolution? If so why?  If not; keep going. How about we take a new approach. New day? Every day is a new day. Set goals accordingly and strive to be better than you were yesterday. Sometimes we let one day ruin how far we've come. It doesn't take away from the journey we traveled. Just take it one day at a time and I promise things would be greater this way.

Questioning

I got asked today; "What would you do if you could only live out today?"

"Would you be satisfied with your life?"

This question really runs deep through my veins,

It has my head on a swivel,

I just want to be happy with the life I choose.

Will that be when I get where I want to be?

Or should I be happy with the journey?

I know I've came a long way and accomplished a lot.

I still have a ways go and plenty room for growth.

If I keep chasing will I ever get it? 

Is happiness defined on future accomplishments or a destination that's set?

Or should I be happy in the moment for the life I'm current living? 

Today you have a choice

Today you have a choice..

Sometimes we get caught up in what the out come can be rather than what we're doing right now in the moment. As long as we continue to move in the right direction positively we're moving. What's a dream?

What's a dream if you're not going to chase it?

Are you going to sit around and watch everyone else make it?

They say you can't be your self you gotta fake it,

Hater going to talk about how you can't make it.

But If you want to top spot you had to take it.

This life is yours it up to you how you create it.

Again what's a dream if you're not going to chase it?

900 million..

What would you do with 900 million?

What would I do? Right now my mind would say retire my parents, clear my love ones of debt, buy a home, invest money, start a business, help people out, all that easy stuff. That's easy to say. Truly I know I'd do some stuff because why not? its 900 million. Buy every pair of Js, me and friends do crazy things, and spurge. No fault in me saying that just how it goes. Money just gives you the opportunity to do things you've never imagine so why not? Does money change people? Because now that I'm wearing different clothes, driving exotic cars, and doing a bunch of things; am I changed? Because now you can; is that changing? Is it true; more money more problems? It's just crazy to consume it all. The true question I'm really asking is what would you do with 900 million? 

Grow

The words spill slowly off their lips.

The secrets slowly fill the room.

Dark stares while they sip.

The looks on their face isn't a pleasant view

I've been here before, it's not nothing that I'm not used too.

People will do anything to think they got the best of you.

Friends turn to enemies, their colors are true.

Lovers to strangers, thought you stay after what we've been through.

Feelings spill on this page, never thought it be this way.

But you don't need to hold hands for you to grow.

Maybe the hands you were holding are stunting your grow.

You have to put yourself first, love who you are,

It's a long journey, grow & love and you'll get far.

Do it with LOVE

Everything you do, do it with love. There is no reason to do something with a half effort. If you're gonna do it with an half effort why do it at all? Weather it's learning something, school, relationships, work, etc. don't waste anyone else's time and most defiantly don't waste your time. A wasted opportunity is one of the worst things you could waste. 

Who we are...

We are what place in front of us. What we watch, listen to, and allow to consume us for we consume it. Be alert!

A Dreamers Dream

What's your dreams?

Just falling in love with cities you've seen in tv screens?

Why not make it a real thing?

Go ahead dance in the middle of time square.

Let the winds of the coast blow against your hair?

Just kick your feet up on a cruise in the middle of no where.

Be adventurous; climb the rocks, get sand in between your toes.

Live free with no worries or woes

In the end it's gonna be the life you chose.

You get one life to live, why not give it all that you can give?

Equality for me?

You're standing there..

What's your deal?

Why do you look at me like that?

Is the color of my skin fearful to you?

The style of my hair not suitable to you?

You give me a vibe that doesn't feel pleasing..

You think this life I live is easy?

It's people like you who don't know but rather assume...

You don't know a thing about me or what I've been through.

Why don't you ask? Or Say hello.

Or are you that afraid?

At least have something nice to say. 

Better yet; just don't judge me..Don't judge me at all. 

I'm a human being treat me equally

Unnecessary noise

Let people talk. People are going to talk weather you're doing good or bad. People will be people. How you react to those people is soley up to you. You can find your supporters and have them help elevate your game/ life or let the haters and naysayers get the best or you. Again that choice is yours. 

Trust your journey

Trust in your journey even though you got a way to go

I know sometimes all the hard work doesn't show 

Truth is it really does show

You might not see it now; But like all things that blossom it takes time to grow

The finish line is closer than you know

But how would you find out if you never take a step and go

Looking Back

I just take a step  back and I have some views on some things

It's crazy how much a year can do when it comes to change

Nothing to own no dollars to my name

But I'm grateful for the struggle and how far I've came

Had choice to grow or stay the same

It was ultimately up to me to pave my own lane

Stuck to the grind, made it up out the dirt

Even with some pain and hurt I appreciate what it's worth

It wasn't easy

Working hard sometimes thinking I got nothing to show

But you gotta work hard that's just how it goes

responsibilities are worth more than you know

When you have right everything will fall into place

Again as I look back I'm in a way better place
